Comodo started acting funny, laggy, then froze. Now I can kill the bit that shows up as an App, but not the bits that show up as background processes in Task Manager.
I didn’t find any help specifically for this. I’d like to get these processes to stop running. Usually this allows an application to run normally.

In order for us to assist you further please provide us a short description of the issue encountered.
Can you share what version of Comodo Dragon and what type of Operating System you are using.
As a suggestion you can go to Settings → System and check that “Continue running background apps when Comodo Dragon is closed” is not checked.
Can you also share with us what extensions/themes you have installed?
