I’m having trouble trying to uninstall/reinstall CFP. I wanted to start over, (basically to reset my rules, I think I got a virus that has been using all sorts of connections to gain internet access). So I uninstalled, and tried to install again, and got “Comodo Firewall Pro is already installed on your system. Would you like to uninstall it now? [Yes][No]”. If I hit ‘yes’, it does nothing. If I hit ‘no’, it also does nothing. I deleted the entire install directory in C:\Program Files, I cleaned up my registry, and I still get the ‘already installed’ error mentioned above. I would like to continue using CFP if possible. I would really appreciate any help anyone may be able to give me. I am running Windows XP SP2. Thanks in advance,

Try installing it in “Safe mode”.
By the way, do you know how to configure Comodo Firewall Pro to automatically block ads on the websites ?

brjesusfreak, I don’t mean to be rude, but, um… should I listen to you? This is your second post ever here, and you’re here to post a question about blocking ads? I’m sorry, but I’m looking for some help from someone who’s a little more of an ‘expert’ with the program. No offense, hey maybe you are, I don’t know. It’s just that a lot of people seem to have install/uninstall issues, and I’d prefer to get help from someone with experience with my issue. Thanks.
Post quantity is only a number. There are lots of quiet visitors who are technical experts, but never bother to post for some reason (you know who you are :-*). I do agree that it’s rather inappropriate to post a question totally unrelated to the topic as it’s called thread hijacking, so please start another thread, brjesusfreak. Thanks.
