Cannot turn Antivirus ON

When I turn my laptop on I get a message “Comodo Antivirus reports that it is turned off”.
When I clic the “Turn On” button nothing happens. How can I turn it ON?

Usually happens when the virus definitions are in the process of being updated, usually goes away after the update finishes.
