Can I make CCE always be auto.updated and ready?

I love CCE! however I would like for there to be a icon in my widget for CCE and I would like for CCE to automatically update itself just as my internet security does.

Currently I have to open the download each time to run CCE. and then it takes its 15 minutes to update itself.
I would like it to always be ready to use, and easily activated to begin scanning simply by me clicking on a Icon in the tool bar or better yet, in the widget.

is CCE currently designed for me to do this? and Can I, a novice do this?
