Can contained applications access the internet by default?

In CAV, can contained applications access the internet by default, or is there a prompt like CIS/FW?

Hi,
By default Internet access is allowed. If you want to control, you can disable Internet access to all application via option “Network Traffic Control Over Sandbox Apps” as explained in help. You can also allow only specific contained applications to access Internet as well.

It does not have any alert as such like is the possibility in CIS.

Only for CCAV,
If you want a firewall with CAV you will have to use CIS. (CAV+CF)
