Bug: dragon://

Because CD doesn’t support “chrome://” but recognizes only “dragon://” all extensions that use “chrome://” are broken. Please remove (the extraneous) “dragon://” and/or support “chrome://”

Hi ParticleMan,
Most extensions from the Chrome web store are compatible with Dragon.
Try disabling Do not allow websites to know where you came from (suppress HTTP referrer header) if you have in enabled during extension installation.

If you continue to have issues, could you please post a link to the specific extensions that are having issues.
Thanks.

I do not have that option enabled. Here are a few examples of extensions that rely on “chrome://”:

Extension:

Extensions:

Extension Button:

What kinds of extensions are not compatible with Dragon and why?

If you need those extensions you could always edit the appropriate file and change ‘chrome’ to ‘dragon’…

I think the greater point is the question of why does Comodo see the need to introduce problems such as this? Why not aim for 100% compatibility if at all possible?
