BSODs Please add your minidump files here

“C2K,”

Thanks to “AOwL” I am finally in the correct area, maybe, to eventually get to the bottom of my problem, mostly to find where and what I need to report correctly to acquire the HELP I need.

Discovered my “Memory.dmp” file or minidump is not placed where it should be, even though the correct location was posted in the “SystemProperties/Advanced/StartUpRecovery/Settings, Write Debugging Information, Small dump directory: %SystemRoot%\Minidump” the actual place where it is placed is ‘\Windows\Memory.dmp’ instead of the minidump folder.

Under Comodo Firewall/ Help for v3 link to this location:

https://forums.comodo.com/empty-t6747.0.html;new;topicseen#new

found the last message on that page with some very helpful information. Like what you had given me plus the name of the file created, “Memory.DMP” and did a search for that one. Found to be in the “Windows” folder not the Minidump. Will give that a try, but; not in this area but in the correct one, Help For v3.

Thank you for reading my rambling messes maybe one day I will know enough to post correctly and in the correct place,

This thread has been going for quite a while. I just started getting the BSOD: driver irql not less or equal, with reference to cmdmon.sys.

Has anyone actually resolved this issue?

Peace,
Chamlin

I have not had any BSOD since going to version 3.0.13.268.

This is the response I got from Comodo Support on the issue of cmdmon.sys causing BSOD:

Now You can download the latest release 3.0.13.268 from http://personalfirewall.comodo.com and uninstall the existing, restart the computer and install the latest.

It will fix your issue.

Version: 3.0.18.309 (Also happened on previous versions)
OS: Vista Home Premium, Version 6.0, 32 Bit
Computer: Toshiba Satellite A215-S4757
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56 1.80 GHZ
Memory: 2GB
Network Cards: Built-in Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter (in use)
Built-in Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI-E NIC (NDIS 6.0) (not used)

Get a BSOD when the FN key is pressed. The FN key is in the lower left hand corner, next to the start key, used to display a control menu for the computer (brightness, contrast, sleep mode, etc.)

Blue Screen Data:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

*** STOP: 0X0000000A (0X00000016, 0X0000001b, 0X00000000, 0X81C281C6)

QA: about the Memory Firewall. Is anyone know how to configure it!
If I close the backup and recovery in XP. Do you need to install memory firewall. (:CLP)

Non-stop support Comodo product (L)

I’ve been having the problem of the BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL intermittently since June. I tried everything, until, on Friday night, I read here that Comodo causes those. How is this?
If I attach the associated minidump, can you help? Thankyou.
