BSOD

Hello,

W10 Famille - 21H1 - 19043.1348 / CFW : 12.2.2.8012

In 2 days, there were 2 BSOD following the reset of the container.
This has not happened for a long time.

There was a Windows update yesterday (KB5007186). I don’t know if it’s related.
ntoskrnl.exe has been updated with this update.

I’m glad that I’m not the only one who has witnessed a BSOD after a “Reset the Container” with exactly the same BSOD exception error…

Thank you.

I just tested, no error for me
Have you made an sfc /scannow ?

Yes. Negative.

Unfortunately this is not systematic. Many resets can take place without BSOD.

It would help to know what was running in containment before you did a container reset, though I’m sure this is the same issue that has happened for a very long time, and was fixed in an previous un-released build. If you were running a web browser that is based on chrome then used reset the container which resulted in a BSoD, that is a known issue but was not included in the 8012 release.

Are run in the container : Firefow & KeePass

In my case it was a chrome based browser (Brave) so it’s a known issue, again I’m glad that it wasn’t my fault.
