I need to uninstall CTM until this is solved as I can’t have BSODs in this production machine.
Any comments from the programmers?
I’ve already run Chkdsk /f /r
This Stop message indicates that the requested page of kernel data from the paging file could not be read into memory. This Stop message is usually caused by a bad block (sector) in a paging file, a virus, a disk controller error, or failing RAM. In rare cases, it is caused when nonpaged pool resources run out. It is also caused by defective hardware.
My pagefile.sys is on a non-protected partition (D:).
CTM avoids the dump file to be saved.
We never have the dump file. No way to do it.
Of course it will be the easier way to know what’s wrong, but at BSOD time, CTM drivers aren’t loaded and the dump file can’t be saved to disk or data will be lost in the snapshots.
After quite some hours of the computer being used.
It’s not a memory leak (common memory leak I mean) as it BSODs the computer. But it seems like that.
Most certainly. I have the computer running 2 days without turning it off and it’s ok now…
brad007, right now I can’t install CTM.
I’m using this “opportunity” to test avast sandbox (with whom CTM has problems also…) and my computer is stable for 3 days.
Waiting for your further development. Thanks.
