My CIS just updated to 5.8 through the update channel. All went well until the initial scan crashed with a BSOD message concerning CMDGAURD.SYS and PSC- Index mismatch.
Any ideas?
The dump files etc are now attached.

I installed avast free anti virus and run a scan, to see if it was my comp causing the problem or CIS. All went well with the avast scan. Avast has now been uninstalled. I can only assume there is a problem with CIS.
