BSOD in Current Release

Hate to say it but BSOD’s are back.

0xD1 at “random” frequent intervals. Uninstall CF and all is well.

Toshiba M400 laptop, current XP SP2, SATA drive, 2GB RAM. All tests perfect.

Very much relates to network access.

MrPete, was a minidump saved on your main drive? If possible, it would probably help the CFP staff if you could upload here.

Yes; but I don’t remember where to find the file  any hints?

Assuming everything is the default, I think it should be in C:\

You can also type this in the Start menu > Run: %SystemRoot%\Minidump to open the directory.

Strange. It dumped, but what’s in %SystemRoot%\Minidump (i.e. c:\windows\minidump) is old. I’ll find it thought. Gotta change locations right now… brb

OK, found them. I have LOTS of DMP files (:KWL). Here’s a few of the most recent.

Thanks, MrPete. I’m sure the developers will find it useful
