Installed the program yesterday but today it has vanished from the toolbar and All Programs.
After looking at FAQ I found C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOC427 ( with f.e. BOC427.XVU ( = Malware signature file ) OK but neither C:\WINDOWS\BOC427.INI ( initialisation file ) nor C:\WINDOWS\UNBOC.EXE ( uninstaller ).
It doesn’t appear in the Control Panel as having been installed.
Where do i go from here?

Did you use System Restore after you installed BOClean ?
Since you already found the BOC427 map, delete that too. Than download a fresh copy of BOClean ( just to be sure ) from here :

And follow the Install Instuctions for your Operating System from here :

I think I may have used System Restore after previously downloading. Why, should that have caused any problems?
I have deleted BOC427 map and downloaded a new copy of BOClean as suggested and it
is now up and running again. I will let you know if I get any more problems with this installation.

Personaly I would use System Restore only as a last resort to solve serious system problems. As you already noticed, it can also create problems ( and a lot of work ) as well
