Blocked network not unblocked by Start Network Activity [MN] [v6]

A. THE BUG/ISSUE:

  1. What you did: Stopped network access using advanced settings ~ security ~ firewall ~ settings ~ firewall level=block all. Re-enabled access using Firewall Tasks ~ start network activity.
  2. What actually happened or you actually saw: Setting seemed to change but then I suddenly lost internet connection due to DHCP failure (allocated temporary internet addess in 169 range).
  3. What you expected to happen or see: Network connection correctly restored from firewall tasks.
  4. How you tried to fix it & what happened: I returned to advanced settings and restored the level to ‘safe’ (it was still on ‘block all’). After resetting connection all was well.
  5. If a software compatibility problem have you tried the compatibility fixes (link in format)? : Not a software compatibility problem
  6. Details & exact version of any software (except CIS) involved (with download link unless malware): N/A

Sorry this happened once but it must be an intermittent problem as I cannot replicate it.

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed. Also, please feel free to update this report if you find a way to replicate it.

Developers may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.

Appears fixed in 2813, but intermittent so difficult to be sure
