Blocked intrusion:- SetPoint.exe

Hi. I am using your free COMODO Firewall program on my Win 7 64-bit PC. Good product!

When I click on “Blocked Intrusions” the Log pops up & under “Defense+ Events” I’m seeing the following blocked intrusion every 6 seconds:-

Application:- C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\SetPoint.exe
Flags:- Access Memory
Target:- C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet security\cis.exe

I assume Logitech SetPoint.exe is safe so how do I tell COMODO to stop blocking this?

NOTES:- I searched this board for a solution, but unfortunately the advice I found is a few years old & your GUI has changed so much that I couldn’t figure out how to apply the advice given ~ or it was for a Pro version with tabs that I can’t find in my GUI.

I also experience this problem (CIS 7.0.317799.4142). Added SetPoint.exe to 2 exlusions lists in the “Defense+” setting (Behavior blocking and Detect shellcode injections) but COMODO still blocks “Setpoint intrusions”.

The D+ logs likely show blocked memory access attempts by SetPoint.exe. By default CIS will protect its processes from this. It’s possible to allow these. That will clean up the logs but makes CIS less secure.
