By the way, I mostly use your malware packs at malwaretips for test. They are good & couple ransomware are always there in the pack. I dont get ransomware often from sites like cleanmx, malwareblacklist, malc0de, malwaredomainlist, etc… Good malware especially ransomware, fake AVs, etc… are tough to find. Few are uploaded on malwaretips too.

i tried to use their safe pay software but it needs internet connection to install and my net connection is slow so i did not able to install it properly. I did not find their offline installer.

Just download the installer from BD site & do as I have mentioned in my previous post. If you get error that too I have mentioned, just try disabling UAC, if you are trying on Win 7 64 Bits, no probs on 32 Bits.

I dont think there will be a full installer. The installer downloads offline installer of size app 9-10 MB & then continues. I have 4mbps broadband connection, the whole procedure initial scan, application download & installation completed in app 5-8 mins here. Then it updated the databases within 7-10 mins.

You have 29 days to register. You can register within the GUI itself with BD, Facebook or Gmail account. After install too you will get the register window.

It requires .net. If you have .net installed, installation will be as I have mentioned above. Otherwise it will take little time as it downloads & installs .net. I had 4.5.1.net already installed.

how did you get offline installer from bitdefender website and what is virus signature data base file size? Using windows 8 32 bit system without .net frame work

I think there is no offline installer.
Your system is 32 Bits. Just download it from BD site & run.
I think its not a big download, atleast here download/install & the initial update was not long.
.net is required. It would be good if you first install .net through windows update. The BD install will take less time.

Hi, .NET Framework 4.5 is preinstalled and enabled by default in Windows 8.

Anyone with BD Free installed can check above 2 links & post how BD Webshield reacts? Plzz test the links 3-4 times with Internet Explorer & Google Chrome both. I am getting inconsistent & different results.

And in Internet Explorer, plzz also check downloading the file by ignoring Webshield message. I am not getting the download window. Google Chrome is fine in this case.

And this is happening after I took ownership of C - Users - “User Name” folder as the folder was not opening & corrupted, Temporary Internet Files folder was also corrupted & not opening. I took the ownership of “User Name” folder with TakeOwnership program & this solved both the folders issue.

No malware on system.
