Why are my torrents slower when my download rate is high and upload rate is slow? Can someone explain to me this download and upload ratio and how it affects my downloads. (L)
This is the nature of the bittorrent protocol and how it’s more fair than the traditional P2P that don’t require uploading to maintain a decent download/upload ratio:

I’ve used Azureus which is a relatively new spin on torrents that seems to work relatively fast for me, check it out.
I tried a lot. Azureus, Bittorrent, and Bitlord. However, I noticed no change. I guess it just depends on the seeds/peers.
