backups hvae failed to actually back up data... help.....

Hi guys,

I’ve been running incremental backups of my work network drive for the past few months. In the below image you can see that the backup file was last modified on the 2 February 2016.

You can see the file size is around 800GB which is right.

On the 3 February 2016 my NAS failed and all of my data has been lost. I went to restore my backup and the latest snap shot was from the 6 May 2015. When i select the snap shot drop down list there are no other entries.

How could I have been backing up daily for the past few months but not be able to restore my data. In the log it says i’ve been successfully backing up my data.

How can i get my data out? Any help would be great thanks.
