so does CRC create a backup of the WHOLE registry before removing any keys if the setting “Create backup before cleaning registry” is enabled or just the keys it detected?
AFAIK it back-ups the deleted keys only

From Help Section: “Create backup before cleaning registry - If enabled, full backup of your Widnows Registry will be created before EACH cleaning of the registry. This is the default and highly recommended setting. You can use this backup file to restore the registry to the current status in case you encounter some system failure or if you want to undo any changes.”
But where is this stored or used? Under the backup section it only has the keys I have deleted b/c some of my backups are only a few hundred bytes.
