Backup failed with error code 180

I am backing up files from my laptop to an external hard drive. I am running Comodo backup as administrator. The backup gets to 100% then displays an error “Backup failed with code 180 (Item skipped).” I’ve tried several times with the same result. The last few lines of the log are below. How can I fix this?

Hello goldfisher and welcome to the forums. Based on your log output it seems CB does not have the permissions to access the C:\Users\goldfish\Documents\My Music folder. You should try to take ownership of the folder and retry. Also make sure you are using an administrator account and that CB is running as an administrator.

Hi there,

I’m logged in with an administrator account and right-click Run as Administrator. I get the same error, but this time there isn’t any “Not enough privileges” at any prior point, and it stops after a different file.

The most recent lines from the log this time are:
22.03.2017 20:50:18 Processed C:\Users\Goldfish\Documents_UK2 - Work\201703 Training Course
22.03.2017 20:50:18 Processed C:\Users\Goldfish\Documents_UK2 - Work\201703 Training Course_inputs and old versions
22.03.2017 20:50:18 Processed C:\Users\Goldfish\Documents_UK2 - Work\Contract documents
22.03.2017 20:50:18 An error occurred during backup
22.03.2017 20:50:19 Backup failed with code 180 (Item skipped).

Hmm, I had the same problem, and I ran as administrator and it worked for me.
