Avast with Comodo?

I am running Comodo v 3.10.102363.531. As far as I can tell it has no AV components. My AV is Avast! Comodo updater offers to update to a new version of Comodo that seems to consist mostly to AV components.

If I update to this new version of Comodo, will it conflict with Avast?

Every version of CIS, including 3.10 has both FW and AV.
You can choose to install one or the other or both. In any of the three choices Defense+ comes included.
So, if you choose to install only the FW you can run Avast with no problems.

You can make your choice either during installation or after, going to Start/All Programs/Comodo/Uninstall or Upgrade.
