Why is there no AV-Comparatives tests about Comodo?
Why not taking tests on this popular site?
This site is one of the most popular antivirus testing sites, if people see that Comodo does a good job (on ATP tests and other tests) more people will definitely use Comodo.

I keep wondering why Comodo isn’t on this site participating in the tests?

I realised that they actually wanted to join the AV-Comparatives tests in the past. But due to some corrupt things (such as asking for extra money to share test results), Comodo was stopped taking the tests.
But AV-Comparatives is really popular and i think they should definitely join no matter what… If the tests are actually taken they can gain a large audience of people.

I only see the room being tested on this site.

There was a conflict between Comodo and Av-Comparatives many years ago:
AV-Comparatives.org, bullying, censorship and financial deals-continued…
Hasn’t been a part of it since. Av-test did test Comodo years ago and Xcitium up until late last year.
But almost everything gets 100% on Av-Test and I think it was $50,000 per test with Av-Comparatives testing and as above but as above, subsequent link post from 2011 Melih’s blog isn’t on his page now but sort of detailed in the thread.
A lot of the bigger AV companies get the samples before hand or sponsor the tests so it’ll not 100% that the tests are reliable in terms of real world testing. Avlab does quite a good job but maybe at some point they’ll get tested by those sites again but I doubt it’ll be anytime soon.
One of the AV Company that’s in every test is Avast but I’ve never been a fan of it and CIS protects me best. Even when I had a Paid version of Avast I got nagging screens to pay for everything else. Comodo does what it does well and besides Norton owns Avast now as well as several other companies and I’ve never been much of a Norton fan.

After Gen Digital company bought all the products like NORTON, AVAST, AVG, AVIRA and BULLGUARD. these products became much better in protection.
They are not reliable. For an example TotalAV uses Avira but he says it performed better than Avira and even if he offline it performed very good (according to them).

Hello everyone, I’m here to share this information about COMODO.
Since it has not been tested by AV-COMPARATIVES and AV-TEST, we can see that COMODO performed well in AVLAB once again.
Hugs to all.

Hello everyone, does anyone know how to answer the following question?
Since COMODO has had its CERTIFICATE REVOKED, I would like to know if it will participate in the AVLab website test?
Since it won’t be long before a new test is released and with the certificate revoked, I think it may not participate.
Could someone clarify this doubt?
If it’s every 2-3 months with AvLab providing it’s fixed within the next week or so then it should be included but I expect if there’s an issue with the certificate still, they will notify Comodo and if not fixed, exclude it from the test. Xcitium will be tested as that certificate isn’t affected.

I will be rooting for it to be tested.
Because I don’t know of any other place where COMODO is tested with ITS CIS product.
If you know of any other place, please post the links!
