I already know who are voting for “Maybe” in all my Wishes. I am also asking some friends to vote accordingly in the Wishes this person creates. I would like to say that If someone is disturbed with my contributions to these Forums then I recommend those people to seek a therapist.
Thanks for the clarification - I have no objections to your ideas - was just curious of the reason. Comodo is a constant learning experience for me - not always easy to understand, but hopefully still keeping us protected.
I voted “No”, as I like to know what apps are doing on my system. The purged list can provide clues if you suspect something is amiss.
For the majority of users (particularly novice users that don’t really know how CIS works), auto-purging would make little difference. Most novices don’t go beyond installing security software and then blindly trust that it is doing it’s job. Most would not even know that the list of purgeable files exists, let alone understand the need to purge it.
However, for more advanced users, auto-purging would be desirable.
In fact I take no issue with anyone disagreeing with me, as long as they are reasonable like panic in the quoted post. Indeed I agree on the part that novice users don’t even know this list exists or about the necessity to Purge it regularly, I just think this is a nice addition since this feature already exists on the Enterprise editions of Comodo, so I think it will not take much development resources to implement into CIS.
