Application Logging

Hi, am I missing something…
I’ve configured my firewall to allow traffic for my email client software and set all application and global rules to log every event they are associated with but somehow at times when I send emails via my email client the traffic is not logged…yet when I re-send such emails…they are…Why? I’m happy to configure my own firewall and need the feedback as my mail client seems to think such emails have been sent… I don’t always get responses, or even read receipts…

…And also… I find this forum difficult to say the least…why are the post new topic and post comment functions so difficult to find? will I get an email for any response to this new topic? is there a function to get email notification?
