Application Agent randomly stopping

I’ve noticed recently on two machines that there seems to be moments where the CIS Application Agent switches itself off and on again repeatedly. Sometimes it just flickers, other times it’s off for 30 seconds or more. Is there a list of likely causes for this?

I haven’t found any viruses or spyware with a lot of scans/tools. I’ve also run a repair install which said nothing was wrong.

Thank you for Reporting.Could you please try the below mentioned steps.

  1. Uninstall CIS via Control Panel. If it doesn’t allow to do it, go to step 2.
  2. Uninstall/check CIS remnants using Ciscleanup tool depends upon your Windows version.
  3. Install CIS and check if the issue will be reproduced.Again if it persists please don’t hesitate to ping us.
