Antivirus won't scan/won't install IMMEDIATE HELP

I am trying to scan it on a computer that doesn’t have it installed mainly because it won’t install. I click to install is and it doesn’t do anything. I tried to start a scan and it says

“Update failed. Error code 0x80004002. No such interface supported.”

What in the world does this mean? Please help asap!

Were you able to install it on the computer or not? If it’s not installed then how were you able to start a scan?

Are you trying to run a scan from the installer? What version are you trying to install?
