An offline update - available for free personal firewall?

When I install the new version of Comodo personal firewall free it insists in uninstalling Comodo firewall; then running it again will install it fine… except that all of my personal little tweaks are gone, so I start all over again.

However, when I let the program do the update, this is not the case.

Obviously, there is a special update version of the install which doesn’t delete the program first.

Question: How do I find the special update version? Is there a permanent link to it, or is there a page on which I can download it?

From what version of Comodo Firewall did you update?

For 3.9 it is actually recommended to do a clean install and not to import a previous configuration.
