Hello. I am wondering about the dynamics of password protected zipp files and their compatability with existing encryption on a drive.
I’ve encrypted an entire drive (free space included) and now I am creating a password protected zipped file and I am wondering if since the drive is already encrypted would password protecting the files and compressing it affect the encryption of that file at all?
Also, if I had done this the other way around, zipping and pass protecting the file and then encrypting the disk would there be any difference?
