Action Center says that comodo is turned off

Hey, new to forum here :slight_smile: I have a problem with my firewall (comodo of course). Basically, in Win7, the Action Center pops up a message that says “Both Windows firewall and comodo are deactivated! mpla mpla Turn something on or install a new firewall.”. I dont think its deactivated though caz comodo interface seen to be full working. :confused: Also it is Running all the time! Had anynone the same problem before? Any ideas-solutions guys?

Hi and welcome anonylix,
Try rebuilding the WMI Repository.

Open a Command Prompt window,

  1. Type NET STOP WINMGMT /Y then Enter
  2. Type REN %WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\WBEM\REPOSITORY REP.OLD then Enter.
  3. Type net start winmgmt then Enter.
    Reboot might be required for it to complete.

Note for step 2 you can navigate via Windows explorer to C:\Windows\system32\wbem\Repository folder and delete or rename the Repository folder.

-Testing period ->one week<- is enough i think so i ll come back later :D-
