Accidentally said "no" when a trusted program needed an update now it won't open

So I had the Comodo Firewall warn me of something that was trying to modify a registry key or something like that. soffice was trying to access the registry. I didn’t realize that was OpenOffice that I use for my word processing, so I said “no” and “terminate”. Now OpenOffice won’t open at all. How can I fix this issue? Thanks!

Just a guess here, but try going to advanced settings firewall /application rules or Hips/Hips Rules and see if the application is listed as blocked, if it is, edit and change to allowed.

Thanks, RLOwens! It was in there under HIPS listed as blocked. I changed it to “Ask” and the program loaded right up. I appreciate the nelp.
