1. What actually happened or you saw:
While gaming, if CIS shows security alert, I have to rely on sound notification alone as I can’t see what the alert is about.
2. What you wanted to happen or see:
CIS should be able to display a simple description of alert via RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS).
3. Why you think it is desirable:
There are several issues with current design:
a) There are situations in which player won’t notice the sound notification (game is too loud, too focused on the game, etc.).
b) Some games don’t support minimizing to desktop, so gamer has to end the game to check notification, which is not always possible or desirable.
c) In rare cases alert can cause loss of focus and mouse reacts to the alert instead to the game.
4. Any other information:
MSI Afterburner is able to display overlay text in various style (font, size, position, color). Dunno of CIS could do the same, but if yes, then gamer would be instantly informed about severity of the alert by its color (orange/red).
