A suggested enhancement - to Melih

Melih, in another topic I mentioned something and was told I should bring it up to you. I hope this is an OK place…looked for a feedback category and didn’t see it, but I am blind sometimes.

So, look at this topic:

Actually, for clarity an not jumping all over, I’ll repeat the salient parts here; it’s not long…
I had asked:
How do I easily but temporarily stop all traffic, and open back up later? I looked in the manual and here, but can’t find it.

Related question…on the summary page, what does “Stop all activities” do? Does that mean stop it’s own rule processing (which I guess would let everything through), or does it stop internet ‘activities’ thus letting nothing through? Very confusing wording, and not in the manual that I could find (but search didn’t work in the manual for some reason).

Aside: I suggest clearer, unambiguous words be used for this control.

Someone else answered:
" Stop all activities " means “stop all traffic.”
And I mused:
Thanks. (1) And that [stop all traffic] might be much better wording to use for that function.

(2) Also, it would be a good item to have on the systray icon rt click menu.

I present these two possibilities to you for the next version.

Thanks for that.
I have passed to our dev team.

If you do a right click on the system tray icon, click FIREWALL SECURITY LEVEL → BLOCK ALL MODE, you’ll find your last wish already answered, albeit not with your preferred wording.
