12.3.1.8104 (beta) ruleset Web Browser blocks HTTP/3 & QUIC

Comodo beta v12.3.1.8104

I only installed the Firewall and unchecked the Antivirus during installation.

When you asign your browser the Web Browser ruleset, all HTTP/3 & QUIC (UDP based) traffic is blocked.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Assign your browser the Web Browser ruleset
  • Navigate to https://cloudflare-quic.com/
  • You will see that ‘your browser used HTTP/2’ and the Firewall log will show it blocked all related UDP traffic

Expected behavior: the Web Browser ruleset allows HTTP/3 & QUIC traffic
