This has been bugging me for a few months now and as when you google it there only old thread’s shown up that are hosted on the Commodo pages, I thought I would post my fix. (With luck).
Clean machine… i7 gen 9 16g ram, 4gb AMD RX560.
CIS updates itself each morning on boot.
signatures and if need program…
Runs a full system scan and then pushes CPU to 100%.
As per screen snaps was set to “background”
For the last 6 weeks, been having to shut it down as its kicking in the fans and pushing heat up.
Restart it and it settles…
This morning went a little deeper and adjusted the CPU to Low…
As you can see dropped down to 35-50% for the period of scans…
Still a bit nasty… but can live with this as long as it scans within 5-10 minutes of first start up so can settle in to what I want to do…
