Enforce HTTPS Connections only after the 'Done' button is clicked?

Why EHC enables on just clicking the lock icon? It should enable when “done” is clicked. Many people dont know what lock icon is & simply click the icon to check what it is but dont know that just clicking the icon enables HTTPS connections.

I think would be better if it is enabled on clicking “done”.

An option to hide the lock icon would be good?
Some users would not want to use it for some reasons.
