Ok as i startup the comp i get a 3 comodo firewall pop right of the screen that application monitor, component monitor, network monitor is turned off and when i click comodo application behaviour analysis is off too (reinstalling the app may fix this problem) but comdo is working fine as i can see the logs are blocking the IP attacks.
is this a bug or what?
before restarting i installed DOTNETFRAMEWORK 3 and updates.
Ive never had this problem so i doubt it could be a bug. Usually something like this occurs if you just installed Comodo and not dont a reboot. But if thats not your case then try a reinstall it will most likley sort it out.
I do a reboot if a program tells to but i have seen this many times not this time
If i install some program (not comodo) and restart the comp Comodo firewall security montiors are off and tooltip is (see Topic)
i dont want a diff firewall than comodo as this is rated best (M)
what is worrying after reinstall there is nothing inlogs and connections!!!
WinPatrol looks more than capable of breaking CFP at install or boot. Have you told WinPatrol to leave CFP alone? Did you get any alerts from WinPatrol in regards to CFP?
Yeah I did exit Winpatrol and Also tried Registry Cleaners (Tuneup ultilites 2004 and CCleaner Registry) and tried installing comdo in safe mode But The Comodo Firewall seems to be turned off !!!
there is Comodo Application Agent started in Services lists :THNK
Are you sure exiting WinPatrol stops it from blocking/working? I ask because this is not the case with all applications. Some have a separate engine process. CFP is like this. If CFPs front-end is stopped, it doesn’t stop it from working, as it also has, as you’ve noticed, a background service.
CFP installs without error or comment. But, on reboot, you get a pop-up from CFP saying that the Application, Component & Network Monitors have not started. Despite these alerts, CFP did seem to be working in so far as that Log entries were being created & connections displayed on CFPs Connections screen. In addition CFPs systray icon tool-tip also said everything was running OK.
Does that cover it?
CFPs Log: It is possible that CFPs Log is blanked on an install. In addition, entries in CFPs Log does not really indicate if CFP is working correctly or not.
Connections screen: This merely shows active connections (not listening ports) & again gives no indication if CFP is working correctly or not.
CPF.exe is in taksmanger i cannot see CMDAGENT.EXE

Uninstalled Winpatrol Totally!!! coz firewall is most important !!!

to all the question above
Log entries created Connections Shown (just after patching security updates of dotnetframework and restarting windows the securtiy monitors were turned off)
I thought a restart would fix this problem as it happened before but the security montiors were off!!!
so i did a reinstall, done cleaners, chkdsk /f, everything i know but no it did not fix the problem :THNK
CMDAGENT.EXE is CFPs background service & it is dependent on a number system-level drivers. If the service is not running then something is most definitely wrong.
Did you re-install CFP using a Administrator account after you had uninstalled WinPatrol?
You’ve mentioned the .NET Framework 3 a few times, but I’m uncertain as to the relationship between .NET & CFP, if there is any. Are you saying that CFP was previously running fine until you performed the .NET update?
