"Your computer is not protected against malware!" ?

So, GeekBuddy reports this. Why? I thought the idea of Comodo Antivirus was just this. If I’m not protected, why am I using this?

Wiki: ‘Malware’ is an umbrella term used to refer to a variety of forms of hostile or intrusive software, including computer viruses, worms, trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, adware, scareware, and other malicious programs. It can take the form of executable code, scripts, active content, and other software.

Did a Geekbuddy employee tell you this while chatting or is it a pop up message? In case of the popup message it could be message from the Windows Security Center? Could you post a screenshot of the alert?

Does CAV report it is functioning correctly?

This is a message from Comodo Anti-Virus. It is not a windows message. It is a message in Comodo.

Have you updated the AV signatures?

This was a brand-new install. Everything was up to date.

What is the background color of the alert? Red or orange? Let Diagnostics run and see if it finds an error and attach the diagnostics report zipped to your next post.
