Xbox Live only works when CIS Firewall is Disabled

Hi all

I am new here and would appreciate any advice in relation to my problem.

I have a laptop running MS Vista Home Premium SP2, CIS 4.1.150349.920,
I connect to the xbox 360 via cable to the inbuilt network card and have a static IP for both the laptop and the xbox, as the auto assign doesnt seem to function properly with the xbox. I am using a Blackberry bold as the modem and I share this with the xbox. MAC addresses of the laptop and the xbox are trusted as are their respective IPs and subnet, Internet works fine with CIS enabled,
The problem I am having is that xboxlive only works when the CIS firewall is disabled, I have opened the ports in both windows firewall and CIS firewall but CIS wont let the xbox share the internet connection. This had me stumped for about a year or so and I not once thought it was CIS but as I have recently found out that it is CIS Firewall.

All suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Diesel

You mention having both CIS and Windows Firewall enabled. Make to disable Windows firewall and see if that makes a difference or not.

Can you show me the Global Rule(s) you made for your XBOX? Show it like:
