www.dragon.comodo.com does not exist . . . . . . . . .

Why do I too often get this irrelevant message, I am not trying go to the site,
I am simply using a link to go to a new page or site and instead am given this message.
Note: As far as I know every time I get this message the site certainly does exist.

During the installation process, did you select to use SecureDNS?

I am using Norton as the preferred DNS Server: 198.153.192.1
However, I did select Comodo DNS when installing Dragon,
a poor choice, apparently, as this does only happens using Chrome/Dragon.

So, how do I CORRECT my error, I looked in ‘Options’ and did not see a choice, in the prefs?

Wrench > Options > Under the Hood
At the bottom of Privacy section.

Uncheck the box - Enable malware domain filtering (Comodo Secure DNS)

Bad

Wait, you get the error message about dragon.comodo.com when using Chrome as well? ???

FYI, www.dragon.comodo.com if you typed this literally does not exist.

dragon.comodo.com resolves to

Bad

“Wait, you get the error message about dragon.comodo.com when using Chrome as well?”
No, I was just saying Dragon IS ‘Chrome based’.

“FYI, www.dragon.comodo.com if you typed this literally does not exist.”
This is the message, maybe I should have been more literal:
“Sorry, “www.dragon.comodo.com” does not exist or could not be found. You may want to perform a search to find what you are looking for.”

“Uncheck the box - Enable malware domain filtering (Comodo Secure DNS)” “Bad”
Meaning that I should not uncheck the box? Then how do I use Dragon with this and not constantly get this message instead of being transferred to the chosen site as FF and others do?

Yes, try unchecking the box. “Bad” is Bad Frogger’s signature.

Can you please give several links that invoke this message?
Does this error reproduce if you disable using secure dns (options > Under the hood > Enable malware domain filtering)?

No specific links come to mind but it happened sporadically with no rhyme or reason,

  1. When on a site and I was simply going from one page to another on the same site.
  2. Searching from the bar it could not fine the search engine site, Bing, Yahoo, Scroogle, etc.
  3. From the bookmarks bar where the link was a straight link to the site such as Bank of America, Hotmail, Gmail, FoxNews, etc.

Please check if the following options have any effect on problem reproduction:
Options > Privacy > Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Options > Privacy > Enable malware domain filtering (Comodo Secure DNS)

And please send me exact link that causes the problem.
