WTF??? Component Monitor file blocked blocks the whole program

When I block a certain dll component in a program…say firefox…
comodo blocks the whole program…
so as a result i can’t use internet…and i have to restart my PC…
why can’t comodo block only that single component and let me use the program???

I asked the same question as your thread title when I did the same thing when I was a newbie. It took a while for me to grasp the concept, but the Component Monitor file that is blocked isn’t really connecting to the internet; it’s more like a component of some application that gets loaded when it starts - like a driver or library. The fact that it blocks the whole program must mean it’s necessary to be Allowed instead of Blocked. If someone knows otherwise, then correct me.
