I am not a heavy Windows user, but occasionally need it and I heard good things about Comodo so gave it a spin.

The AV found 5 false positives!

I use Cain and Able for security research yet Comodo thinks that both cain.exe and able.exe are “unclassified malware”

It thinks ebb.exe from the DVI package in MikTex is a backdoor.

Adobeflashplayer.exe is malware also!

SSGet.exe from Qwest QuickCare is suspicious.

Not that I was expecting any real problems found since I keep Windows on the tight leash it deserves to be on, but I didn’t expect so many false positives either. It makes me wonder how many false negatives there are. I know what my next project is going to be.

So what is the point of this software again?

Though I don’t doubt you on the false positives, have you uploaded the said files to virustotal.com to check for validity?
