Winduhs xp intermittent shut down after System Cleaner Run

Maybe it is not related. But after installing System Clean on my pc (not portable), and running a few times, when I go to shut down, sometimes the pc will go through the motions and shut down, and other times, it makes it to the part which states “windows is shutting down”, and stays there until soft reset or holding the power button to shut off.

Anyone else experience this?

In order to see if this is caused by CSC we need more information so we can reproduce it on our machines.

Please provide us with the following:

  • What version of CSC you have installed on your pc
  • Your Operating System (and whether it’s 32bit/64bit);
  • Security Software Installed;
  • All log files of CSC (you can find them in the installation folder of CSC: CRC.log, CDC.log, CPC.log)
  • Any other Additional Information like what scans and cleans have you performed, settings used.
