Upon uninstalling Comodo Firewall on Windows Vista Business, all internet access is lost. I had to go into Windows Network Connection Properties (eventually reached thru Diagnose and Repair in right clicking the notification area icon for wireless networking) and uninstall the Comodo Firewall Driver. After rebooting, internet connectivity was restored. Just for your information.
In rare cases uninstalling may leave a driver behind as you experienced.
