Windows restart needed to disable Defense+ ??

Is Defense+ disabled simply by setting the Security Level to Disabled??

Is a restart of Windows needed to make the disable effective?

If you want to Permanently Disable Defense…
Yes,

But If you set the security level to disable (Temp Of Course)
Then it won’t require a restart.

So that brings up the question of what is meant by Permanently Disabling D+ ?

I wanted to disable it for a day or so to test something. I set the Security Level to Disable and then restarted. Did that make it permanent? If so I’ll be wondering next how to undo the disable.

P.S. Off topic - I got two emails showing two responses to my original post. One by CGPMaster and one by blatug. The one by blatug is not here. Can someone delete a post after doing it?

Permanently Disabling D+ Is Where There Is Where The Defense+ Driver Is Disabled…
Just Regular Disable When testing things should be fine… it shouldn’t make you restart…
