Windows Operating System problem

Hi!

I’m using a small home network that’s originally a peer-to-peer connection with manually configured 192.168.2.1 gateway to a internet cable provider and 192.168.2.2 lan computer which uses internet connection trough the first address.

If I use “Secure DNS” I can’t use Internet on both computers. That’s why I don’t use that option. Both computers actually share the same IP when they go online (for example on the forum they might appear as two logs with same IP) because we don’t have a broadband router.

Problem is that I don\t know how to configure my firewall settings so that they allow full internet access to the other PC in small home network.

Comodo did recognize the network and I always choose “Home network” from three options, however the other PC can’t access and Firewall log shows that the 192.168.2.2 UDP has been blocked.

Any fix to this problem?

Hi neeee,

In the computer that you use as gateway, did you check in FW > Firewall Behavior Settings > Alert settings > "This computer is an internet connection gateway (i.e. an internet server)?

It was enabled, yes.

I did an uninstall of the Comodo Firewall but i’ll install it again so I’m doing all steps from the beginning. Can I receive a guide how to setup it properly? I’ll also show screenshots of the config afterwards. Thanks!
