Windows cannot find my user profile on startup

I installed Comodo BOClean 4.25 today and everything seemed to be fine. However, when I rebooted my computer I received a message:

"Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.

DETAIL - An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed unrecoverably. The registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system’s image of … etc"

Windows then logs me on with a temporary profile that does not remember anything. I uninstalled BOClean, but it did not resolve the problem.

Please help me find my profile!

Hi Chubbs, welcome to the forum

I doubt this has anything to do with CBOClean, but maybe this can help you :
