I’ve just d/l and installed csc 1.1.63928.28. After running it three times windows xp pro 32bit sp3 hungs and kept on churning at the startup. Had to hard rest to entier safe mode to restore the last two crc backup. Here are the llog files.

The version of CSC you have downloaded and installed is very old. The latest version of CSC (which has major changes and updates from version 1) is 2.0.110158.6 and can be downloaded from here:
