i updated to the latest comodo firewall i believe .427 and have had the windows security center tell me it off and tell me there is an update but when i update and reboot it still says there is an update available. will using system restore restore the version of the comodo firewall to my previous version? also should you ever use system restore in safe mode?
Yes it should whilst there is no problem with your system restore point.
You can use it in Safe Mode if you wish as System Restore is the first option offered when you go to Safe Mode if you cannot boot into Windows.
