When it takes more than one “attempt” to send a fax, is it a problem on my end or with the receiver’s end? It took four attempts for a fax to go over, and I was just wondering.
The problem was with the receiving fax machine. Trustfax will attempt to resend a fax when the receiving fax machine is busy, does not answer, or rejects the fax for any reason.
The default number of attempts that trustfax tries is 4 times. After the 4th attempt, trustfax stops sending and lists the fax as max attempts in your email tracking.
Customers are not charged for unsuccessfull attempts.
