Why no icon in the task bar?

:-\Hello Folks,

Could someone advise as to if there should be an icon in my taskbar indicating CIS is working ok? the only way this happens is if I click on CIS in my programmes list, I know it seems stupid but I feel more assured if I see the Comodo logo icon merrily working away there.

So is there a way to make sure this is there from boot up or is there a way to enable this or is there a fault ?

Any replies will be appreciated.

It might be helpful to know your OS and CIS version?

Have you any other AntiMalware programs running on the system?
Run the corresponding tool for any previous AntiMalware products if one is available.
Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software

If this was an upgrade install, did you uninstall the previous version first?

I would consider a reinstall to see if that solves the problem by following the recommendations kindly posted by Chiron in the link below.

I have taken all the good advice, removed all other security software then removed previous CIS, reinstalled CIS all working great now,
