why must i jump through so many hoops to get a certificate issued?

i’m currently stuck in validation, because apparently dun and bradstreet has a four year old phone number for my company. this after not being able to complete domain validation because “yooter” on our domain registration doesn’t match “yooter interactive marketing, llc” on the forms i sent (even though any reasonable human being not working at comodo could have looked at it and known they were the same people by matching the addresses and phone numbers).

anyway, now i’m stuck at this phone number issue. we’ve had quite a few different offices and phone numbers over the past few years, and don’t rely on d&b AT ALL for business (people find our website and call from there), so we never updated it. comodo refuses to look at our website and see that the number and address there matches what i submitted on the forms.

how can i get this done? we’re going on a week now that this has been paid for but we still don’t have the certificate and it is holding up development at this point…

yooter != yooter interactive marketing, llc;

Does John Smith = John? I think not. Everything needs to match much like you were getting a passport, drivers license or work visa.

All that honestly verifies is that someone can update some code on the website. It doesn’t mean that number is valid and verified. We do this for your protection.
